Brandon has theater issues and gets a new hat that is unwrapped on the show (great visual for an audio podcast). Los birthday and Marina Del Rey baby shower. Signing at Costco. The Creator, The Instigators, and Mercy reviews (none are good). Detailed chain restaurant discussion followed by gold medal basketball. Finally, Credere going to an academy and black fraternities end this absolute gem of an episode.

This is the closest you get to a live show, as it went up an hour after recording. Credere gets back from the Beast Coast and enjoyed seafood and the vibe. Brandon finally gets his sneakers after so many unnecessary steps. The real issues Brandon has with Deadpool. New Planet of the Apes review. “Reference strike out ratio”, new name coming soon.  We then discuss the youth not reading and how not having tactile things will doom us, as it has to last civilizations (yeah we went pretty deep into the amber on this one). Twisted Tea’s marketing scheme with Hugo, which then leads to Brandon explaining his shrink trip in fifth grade, that just the way I are.    

Tyler Perry is given some credit during our lecture for new script writers loosely done through this episode. Why don’t whites use lotion? Paris Olympics are jamming and we discuss the opening ceremony. Why are biopics so difficult to do, with One Love the Bob Marley movie review. Deadpool & Wolverine (no spoilers, waiting for Credere to see it). The Quiz with Balls: yes that’s the name of network game show.    

Throughout the episode Brandon manages to name 11 jobs he has had, see if you can hear them all. Why work schedules don’t work for us. Clipped sucks, just like the franchise. Watch Monarch and Cloak & Dagger instead. Jaylen Brown is not a Nike fan and some team USA talk. Brandon’s birthday: Cheesecake Factory in Marina Del Rey detailed a little too well, baked with the Beatles, Hollywood Blvd from 4am-8am is glorious, and funfetti cake.    

Brandon’s birthday episode is a wild one. We discuss a different angle on this last weeks melee and RIP Richard Simmons. We watched Making Sin City and Receiver with some thoughts. Is ooo wee making us ‘noid, but we’re not paranoid? Awful gimmicks and mascots. At the end Credere gets a big surprise as do you, enjoy.    

Brandon attempts to finish the second part of his Buffalo trip replete with Vidlers, Car shows, East Aurora and pizza. The best part of the trip happened in LA. Another take on why the LL crew hates flying and the absurd amount of things they have to do just to feel “ok”. Hats don’t make you go bald, sorry dads. Watching Axel F and reviews.

The boys share their experiences with “America’s Highway”.  Go see America before it’s too late, per Credere. Best basketball movies: top 3 and 3 were taking off. The “men” are really fans of Love & Basketball. Brats doc is basically Andrew McCarthy taking blame for nothing in his life. Get Shorty retrospective. On a Permanent Marker strain induced podcast the boys start with short sports talk. The NBA schedule stinks and the games are trash. Men named Angel and Jesus, stop it! National Zyn shortage. Crederes EIS: Michael B Jordan vs Glenn Powell. Ratings and reviews: Hit Man, Godzilla Minus One, American Fiction and Major League (yes that same one). Making a classic and not knowing it (damn would’ve been a better title).    

We start and finish with Brandon’s Saturday; while many tangents abound. Radiology Blues and the lousy insurance company Brandon is dealing with. Credere finished Winning Time and reviews. Ooo wee review: strawberry milkshake (which is plugged brilliantly). Then something we only do once a year: we discuss a making of Any Given Sunday feature film. What movies have really shone a bad light on the big 4 sports. Furiosa review and Mad Max saga timeline (spoilers included). Credere’s family cooking and making crunchwraps at home is for boss players.    

The boys do a quick all sports segment to honor Bill Walton and talk current playoffs. Ooo weee review brought to you by Baggy Buds. Then conspiracies start: the food supply, climate change, nuclear war, and America’s hand in it. Bracelet on citizen app and Depew cops vs LAPD. Finally the segment the world has clamored for: worst rap group offshoot from a known artist. As always we hope this episode finds you in good health mentally and physically.    

We start with an ooo weee review that goes from Buffalo graffiti terms to 710 labs. Credere has been a “bath man” since he’s been a man. Why are police beating up college students and not arresting criminals: just a thought. Tax irritation. Credere finished True Detective, Brandon finished The Bear and all is well in the world. Anniversary weekeend round up: Hawaiian food, Santa Barbara, biking, chain-ish restaurants, and using gift cards. A few points to wrap up about Brandon’s parents trip. Grammar and clothing should they be mutually exclusive? What happens with our parents stuff: we make the hard decisions. We don’t talk about “issues” because there’s too many of them, but we hit on campus protests and the rap beef wars fairly quick.
