Our adventurers are having a bit of a rough start against the frog people. On a mission to find a cure to the mysterious illness the frog people are said to have, only one of the party has even made it past the cave entrance where the frog folk live! And that really just made things worse. The others have been fighting for their lives, and it's not going their way. Having come up with a do it yourself remedy for the unexpected acid within his body, Nock is ready to put that remedy to use to aid Shep. He may be a little too excited to use it on Shep if we're being honest. But really, after being shot by Shep's arrows more than once we can't blame Nock. Will the party make it past the horde of frog people and get to the cave? If they do, can they even go through the magical barrier blocking the entrance? Our adventurers are on a quest for the mysterious disease ravaging Namee's home. Upon arriving at a cave said to hold an antidote, they have discovered it is heavily inhabited by the frog people who have attacked the party in the past. They were told to expect this of course, but there's a lot of them! With Namee off  to cause chaos, the rest are left to fend for their lives as they engage in combat with the frog folk. The result of this is a slew of stabbings. There are gobs of gorings. A profusion of piercings! A great deal of gashes. Stacks of slashings! A cornucopia of cuts. Piles of punctures!A real wealth of wounds. And a plethora of perforations. Really just a general shitshow of being stabbed. And Blag is only responsible for about 3 of them! With the magical tower and it's various floors conquered, our party has safely retrieved Namee's father. Okay, that's not totally true, there was some burning. And Nock got turned into a chicken. But it was fine! And now our party is set on finding the source of the mysterious illness that afflicts the gnomes. With a hot tip from a fast talker they are on their way to the location of the traveling magical purveyor Doctor Traintorker with hopes he'll be able to assist them further. After a bit of a hike they locate Doctor Traintorker's massive wagon and... Chosen protect us! That's a gigantic horse! Forget finding the source of the disease. It's time to befriend this radiant creature! Thankfully Violexx can make apples on demand. Surely this big beauty will respond well to some good old crapples! Anyway, it turns out the Doctor has also contracted the disease. But he knows where they need to go if they hope to cure everyone. Our adventurers have made their way out of the dwarven ruins after a very close call with a creature that probably could have killed them with a look. Thankfully the party can turn on the charm when needed! It seems they were rather hasty in believing the djinn and taking this dangerous journey in the first place. But really, they are basing this on the word of another potential enemy that they immediately believed! It's starting to look like they'll just accept as truth whatever they were told by the last person they spoke with. This is how people end up with unwanted timeshares. With essentially nothing to show for their efforts except that they added a halfling to the party and they got some magic items, they head back to Namee's hometown where they are met by Namee's mother and word of his father's health. Having defeated a menacing duo of skeletal guards, our adventurers find themselves before a giant set of ominous doors. Doors that clearly block the way that they want to go to achieve their goal. But going in that direction would be much too direct for this team! Especially when there's so much yet to explore! And after finding Nock's amazing new sword in one of the very first areas they entered, you'd better believe the party's going to explore all of it. Because if there's one thing that will always override whatever other objective an adventuring party may have, it's the lust for magic items.   What mysteries lie buried in the ruins? Having stumbled into the dwarven ruins in the desert, our team has begun their search for the magical lamp controlling the djinn that is laying waste to the land. During the exploration, they come across an enchanted sword that has quite a way with words. Bonding with Nock, the sword is about to show our party just what it can do as they come across some shambling skeletons. Here's a hint, it's awesome! Finally, the full team has a chance to see how well they meld into a cohesive fighting unit. Here's another hint: it could use some improvement! It turns out their newest member needs just a bit more practice with area attacks. We're sure he'll pick up on it quickly and everything will be fine down the road! Our team came upon a town that was a wreck. Pushing through the place Nock had some very bad skill checks. Surviving his traps they met a halfing scout named Shep and his wolf that looked hardy. Having similar goals to stop the magical desert they decided to join the party. So off they all went to find the dwarven ruins. Because the djinn's lamp there is the solution they are pursuing. But it turns out finding this place is a difficult goal, until Violexx stumbles into a great big hole. There's streets and homes, full of dust and bone. It does seem she's stumbled into the right zone. But these skeletons've got hands that are grabby. While Nock and Shep stand up high being gabby. Turns out we're going to need a knowledge infusion to deal with major anatomy confusion.  Will the team fight? Will they go up, down, left or right? Will they find a treasure that's sublime? Will Mke commit a heinous word crime? What situation will Nock find that is trying? Because it turns out Kyle is much better at rhyming!  

Our adventurers have found themselves in an unnatural desert, searching for a way to stop it's rapid spread across the land. Upon meeting its unusual source, a djinn that looks to be wasting away, he tells them that he is causing this destruction as the result of a wish. To put a stop to the destruction, he directs them to a ruin deep in the desert where he says the wish was made. On their way there they come across the ruins of a town that appears to have been besieged. Desperate for a break from the monotony of trudging through the desolation, the party decides to investigate the town.    How much will Nock regret being impatient with the party and pushing onward through the town? And will he regret it even more if he keeps doing it? What sort of grievous injury will Blag suffer by his own hand? Will a simple object he discovers be able to make everything better for him? And just how confused will Violexx get about, well, everything? One thing's for sure, this town is going to be a pain in Nock's ass!    

With the tournament complete and the winner crowned it's finally time for our party to venture out of Butt Mountain. However, since one of our adventurers won, they must first deal with the Giant King's pesky decree that the champion cannot leave. We have a feeling Namee can ferret out a way to get around that!   What will the next step be in the party's quest to cure the sickness wracking Namee's home? How awkward will it be when they realize Palino is still there? How hard will the party try to communicate with a horse? And what epic weapon name will our adventurers unearth in their travels? The giant fight club has begun! First Blag fought the giant called Bear Tamer. Violexx faced off against a giant with a demon. And Namee entered the ring with a rather nasty giant with a massive crushing weapon. With the rest of the party each securing a win, and very fancy titles, it's Nock's turn to take on a challenger! Which of the giants will he be fighting? Well we'll tell you! Our notes here say he's facing Palino. Huh. That's a very refined name for a giant. No wait, Palino is the angel-like warrior the party saw trouncing four giants when they arrived! Nock is so screwed!  The fight is on! And Palino's Spanish accent is so smooth he's got everyone trying to talk like him. Really, how can Nock stand up to this guy? The charm alone should blow him away. But maybe Nock has a trick up his sleeve. Yeah, yeah, he doesn't have sleeves in his description. It's an expression! Palino would have just let that slide. He's wonderful like that. And so handsome. I wonder what he's doing after he kicks Nock's butt

It's a Giant Combat Tournament! No not a giant tournament like a real big tournament, even though it is that. A giant tournament like the combatants are giants. Literal giants, not just big people. Except for our party of adventurers of course. They're not giants. But they do have giant personalities. Yeah, this is getting confusing. What's important here is Nock and Violexx were watching the tournament and made an off-hand comment about competing. The giant king, king of the giants not just a big king, heard this and volunteered them. So it's time for giant fights, and this one is giant in all the meanings of the word! Will Blag be able to grasp the concept of non-lethal combat? Will Violexx beat up her opponent or herself? And how will Namee handle being forced into the ring? Having spent some time in Namee's gnomish hometown, it's clear that it isn't faring well. A mysterious illness has befallen it's citizens and plants, worsening a food shortage that is compounded by the neighboring giants. They've been using their big grabby hands to take all they can get from the gnomes. It is clear something needs to be done. And since the new party dynamic seems to be genuine interest in helping people, they quickly take on the task.   With Nock unsuccessful in encouraging the plants to fight off the disease, our party decides to tackle what should be the easier of the two problems, the giants that are stealing much of the gnomes' remaining food. But the climb up the mountain is fraught with its own challenges. The least of which is a distinct lack of maturity brought on by a slip of the DM's tongue!  It's a party member avalanche as our team attempts to ascend to the peak! Here at the Episode Description Department, we pride ourselves on our ability to, well, describe things. Specifically, events within an episode. This one has us stumped though, as we find ourselves confronted with something we've never seen before. It is so mind-boggling that attempts at description elude us. For in this episode, the players mostly talk to one another in character. And they do it a lot.  We haven't done the math, but it feels like they talk to each other in character more than they do out of character. Flabbergasting we know. They all talk about their pasts. Seriously, each of them. In a conversational format! It feels like a whole new game. Some sort of talking to each other in character game. No, that doesn't flow well. Discussion between imaginary people game? There has to be a better term for that. Talk playing game? We're open to suggestions here.  Normally this is the part where we ask vaguely foreshadowy questions like will "Namee do something crazy". But honestly it feels like we

Blag and Namee have ventured into the portal to journey to Namee's hometown at the behest of the wizard Wanzledorf. Along the way they survived more than one ambush from frog-like creatures! Passing through a small village in the middle of a great valley they met Monadnock, a firbolg with a commanding presence and a deep connection to nature. It turns out he is the same firbolg who founded the Onyx Shields, and has been back among his people serving as a protector since leaving that group. He informs them that he has read the signs in nature and knew that he would be called upon soon to defend the land. After just a bit of confusion as to what happened to his old friend Derand, he is ready to venture forth and joins the party, seeing their meeting as being fated.  Arriving at the gonimsh settlement of FizzyWhizzalPop they came across a tiefling woman insisting to a guard that she was there to help them. Something she is going to quickly get to prove when the arm of a giant reaches into the cave entrance and

A new adventure begins! Having just successfully saved the world from the machinations of an evil mind flayer (we're surprised they pulled it off too), the party has entered a new era. Some might call it a new season in their lives. Maybe a second season? We're still workshopping that. Kort has gone off to help rebuild his former thieves guild. And Rathborn has taken up a position as Ambassador for the Red Halls, the new home of the Onyx Shields organization. Wasn't he trying to kill them when we started? Talk about character development! Namee and Blagriland had just said farewell to their former companions when conveniently a portal opened before them, out of which came a gnome wizard who had come to summon Namee home. It seems Namee's home is in danger, and that he is needed, because apparently he's royalty. News to us too! That little guy is full of surprises! So it's off on a new quest! What dangers await the two friends on the other side of the portal? What new friends will they meet on their travel

This is it. The time has come for the final battle between our team of heroes and the evil mind flayer Lililith. And yes, we finally called them heroes. Our adventurers now know the full extent of his manipulations in their pasts, creating tragedy after tragedy to further his own goals to dominate the world. They've defeated his champions, individuals who played significant roles during their lives. And now they've even acquired god-like abilities that will be needed in the climactic fight against Lililith, who has transcended to an immensely powerful form as well.  Will the heroes' powers be enough to foil Lililith's grand designs? Will the party recognize the gravity of the situation and keep things serious? Or will they crack a bunch of jokes while Blag does his usual horrific attacks against the enemy? And what does Lililith have against libraries? One way or another, this is the end of the line. Who will stand when all is said and done? Our first season is drawing to a close. With that comes many farewells. Our villain has been pulling numerous strings over the years and now many of the people affected are coming together, perhaps for the last time. Found a sister he didn't even know he had. Altered by magic to be a warrior for his land, he met a wise monk named Babushka who passed along her teachings to him in the little time they had together before she fell in battle. Now he fights to restore his family and protect those who cannot protect themselves.   Rathborn Finebottom- Yes he knows his last name makes it hard for people to take him seriously. Which is exactly why he doesn't tell people what it is. He was on a misguided quest for revenge, and has learned the identity of the true architect of his pain.

Our adventurers have survived their all-out charge through the battlefield leading to Spine Breaker Mountain. While their friends engage the enemy forces in the raging battle behind them, our team pushes onward. They can only pray they will arrive in time to stop their foe's evil plans to dominate their world, and many more worlds beyond. However it quickly becomes apparent that an army is not the only force the villain has brought to the mountain. The party has come face to face with their pasts. Have the choices they've made throughout their lives come back to haunt them? Except for Namee of course. His decisions always seem to have immediate consequences!
