It’s exciting when God says “yes.” But what about when God says “no?” What happens when God says no to pursuing a job you’ve been wanting? How do you respond when God says no to the relationship you’ve wanted to have with that guy/girl you found attractive? Do you respond in anger or obedience? Do you respond in bitterness or joy? Pastor Jeremy Johnson dives into the life and private anointing of David. He uses the early life of David to explain that we are anointed as children of God. We have a high call on our life, but just because people don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not the truth. We are anointed as kings and queens, therefore we must protect the kingdom we have been given to rule over. Whether it be our home, our kids, our spouse, etc., we are called to steward our anointing, even when people don’t see it. In stewarding your kingdom, giants will come. In these moments, we turn to God and ask Him how we can defeat the giants we face. It’s in these moments where God will sometimes suggest a new strategy

In this week’s podcast, we continue this sermon series “I Will Fear No Evil” with three people who have walked through valley seasons and how God showed Himself faithful in their particular seasons. Cameron, one of our very own worship leaders earlier this year had walked through a tough season of loss. As he shared the emotions that arose during that season, he shared his revelation and perspective and how the Lord showed His kindness and goodness to him. Andy, one of our Fearless fathers, speaks about his journey with his wife their fertility struggle. Andy shares his struggles in the midst of this season and how he fought back, but most importantly, how God showed up and worked a miracle through this valley season! Carlos, another amazing Fearless father and Fearless BND bassist, shares two valley seasons he walked through with his father and his son. Carlos shares how he felt and how God continued show Himself faithful to his father and his son and the words that God spoke that got him through that season

Happy Sunday Fearless family! This week Pastor Christy walks us through the Numbers 13 as we continue learning about the valley of decisions. When the Lord told Moses to send leaders to the Land of Canaan (promised to the Israelites) they reported that their was fruits but the people inhabiting the land were strong, powerful people. In this message we are reminded that in God’s promises, there will be fruit but there may also be giants. However, God did not call us to be grasshoppers— he called us to be giant slayers! As no obstacle is too great or too powerful for God.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!    This week, Pastor Christy reflects on Joel 3:14. Everyday, we are faced with decisions we have to make— whether big or small. These decisions we make add up over time and create our life. Pastor Christy points out that in the valley of decision there are three things: fruit, giants, and grasshoppers. To overcome the giants in the valley, we are given 5 practical tips for Godly decision-making.

Hello, my name is REVIVAL. Did you know the term revival means new or strengthened? As believers in Christ we know that He is the source of our strength and is constantly working behind the scenes to work things out for the good of those who love Him and are called to His purposes. This week pastor Jeremy emphasizes the energy of the church and the power that comes with revival. When we are obedient to God, He will give us the grace to face our trials and the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20).

This week at Fearless LA, Pastor Jeremy Johnson delivers a declaration of hope: “This is our year, because today we’re going all in! No giant will defeat us! No ocean will drown us! No Pharisee will dissuade us. No Jezebel spirit will scare us. This year, for the rest of the year, we will go all in.   The enemy has a strategic attack planned, tailored to your fears and temptations. The enemy knows that the name given to you by the Lord is a threat to him. But fear not, Fearless family— we know the enemy’s plan will backfire! Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.   This week, Pastor Jeremy teaches us how the book of Daniel exemplifies walking in God’s purpose. In Daniel chapter 3– Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace after refusing to worship the king’s statue of gold. However the king and his advisors were astonished to see four figures in the fire walking around unharmed.   Sometimes God allows us to be thrown in the fire to burn off the things that do not belong in our lives. What ever struggles you are going through, have faith that Jesus is in the fire with you and you will come out untouched.

As we walk into this on-going season full of trials, Pastor David gives an amazing word about the importance of understanding the patience in the word of God.   As believers, we tend to question God after we get caught off guard. But when we read the story of Job, it teaches us how God uses different obstacles for us to grow with Him.   This season, we are forced to face multiple situations at once that can lay our foundation.   God is for us, and if God is for us, who can possibly try to come close to the power of our almighty God.

In this week’s Podcast Our First Lady, Pastor Christy Johnson gives us an encouraging message on how we can shift our focus back on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Philippians 4:6 says this “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.” In our current state in the world it’s very easy for us to think on what is hard, what isn’t going our way and what is to come next— but the Bible says very clearly to think on these things. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says “The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” When having thoughts that are overwhelming and anxiety-driven, question them and bring them to Christ. “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” Psalms 100:1-2 NIV   At Fearless Church we believe that worship is our weapon against the enemy. This week, pastor Jeremy discusses the symbolic nature of the bald eagle in not only the United States, but in the Bible. While other birds hide and take shelter during storms, eagles climb to the highest point, lift their wings and soar. As Christians we are called to lift our hands in the midst of life’s storms.

Happy Sunday Fearless church! Pastor Jeremy begins this service with the end. In the end, God wins. Revelation 19:4- 10 illustrates the wedding of Christ and his bride. God’s children coming together in perfect unity and harmony. As believers, we strive to create this type unity in the church. Unity does not mean that we are the same but rather united in spirit. In order to create this harmony with fellow believers, we  are called to tuned our hearts to God— first by reaching up, reaching in, and then reaching out to others.

“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all it’s many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:12. On this podcast titled “Death to racism” Our lead pastor, Pastor Jeremy Johnson addressees the climate of our country and racism in the body of christ. This message is to help us as a body become one again just as christ has envisioned for us but also carry each others burdens in the midst of these injustices because Jesus ultimately wants us to speak up! Hello Fearless family. Just as a husband experiences the pain of child-birth with his wife— we stand with our black brothers and sisters against injustices. This week, Pastor Jeremy preaches a word on unity, love and standing with one another during hardships.   1 John 4:7-21 teaches us about God’s love and ours. We love because He first loved us. We are called to love our brothers and sisters as Christ loved us; hating sin but not the sinner.   In love— we are also called to action. Pastor Jeremy shares Romans 12:9-21 as a guide on how to love in action. This means standing with those who are hurting and showing grace to those who persecute you.   This message was recorded in DTLA, at our drive-in night service 

On this week’s podcast, we acknowledge the current climate of our country in regards to the racial divide. As a church we believe God loves you and hates division. We acknowledge the life of George Floyd that was taken unjustly and far too soon. Pastors Jeremy and Christy Johnson, lead pastors of Fearless LA, take us on a cinematic and lighthearted adventure through classic sci-fi movies to ultimately share the importance of love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 says, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.” The most important thing is to LOVE and love till others ask why. Let’s ask the Lord to do a work in our hearts to love well!

Life can be quite…adventurous at times. It can even seem like a movie! That’s why this week Pastors Jeremy and Christy Johnson of Fearless Online have decided to take us on an adventure through their favorite movies in the action/adventure genre! Some movies include 300, Jurassic Park, Braveheart, and more. We didn’t forget to bring Jesus into this sermon either. Pastor Jeremy relates many things we see in these movies to real life situations we face everyday. Join us on this journey through cinema to see the gospel in a new and exciting way!

Happy Sunday Fearless LA!   The Bible says in John 3:16 that whoever believes in Jesus shall have eternal life. Our youth pastor, David, invites us to reflect on our definition of belief— as believing and relying on God in all circumstances.   In the Bible, we see that God delivers His people no matter if they are in the hills or the valleys (1 Kings 20:28). God does the same for us during all seasons of life— through the highs and the lows.   Pastor Jeremy points out that God may bring you to a valley to give you a new vision of Him. Have faith! He will meet you in your struggles. If the Covid-19 pandemic is a valley, you may experience some additional hardships during this season. Be encouraged— Just as David remained faithful and God delivered Goliath into his hands, God is present as you confront your own giant.
