Like the 2009 film Pink Panther 2, the 11th in the Pink Panther series, this is the episode of Film Chat that is gonna take its place in the history books. Unlike Clouseau, Sam proves himself to the epitome of competence by doing not one, not two but two reviews. Firstly of Paul Thomas Anderson's stoner noir Inherent Vice, and secondly of J C Chandor's mob drama A Most Violent Year. Meanwhile Danny, much like the character of Clouseau's girlfriend Nicole Durant-Clouseau, iconically brought to life by Emily Mortimer, supports him at every turn.
