In the 13th episode of Film Chat, Sam and Danny discuss the Bechdel Test, the theme of the upcoming year-long Bechdel Test Fest in London. For those who don't know what it is, we've got an educational musical number that will teach you all about it. Plus we review Selma, the civil rights drama set in the curious bygone days when the USA had race issues, and Shaun the Sheep, a delightful animated adventure that would be the clear frontrunner for Best Picture 2016 if there was any justice in this world. The whole thing is more than a little reminiscent of The Sign of Zorro (1958), the 13th American Zorro film which I'm told features continual references to sheep and voting rights.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
