John - The Jesus Is Gospel

After leading the formerly blind man to faith, Jesus declares Himself to be the good shepherd, which was an indirect rebuke of Israel's bad religious leadership, relating them to thieves and robbers. In this teaching, the hearer is encouraged to follow the good shepherd in every area of life, resulting in our being like Him.
