Alex Roy is a brilliant, hilarious, exccentric fixture in the automotive world. He is a an expert in autonomous cars, and broke several long-distance driving records including shortest drive time from NY to LA, and shortest drive time from LA to NY in a Tesla Model S. He has been writing almost exclusively about autonomous vehicles for TheDRIVE, and recently took a position at ARGO AI. We see a panel gap, and he knows why it's that size. He understands the constraints designers have when they design a new car. He only has to drive the finest cars, he (admits) he isn't that fast on a track, and when it all began, he was a school teacher. He is a great example of someone who arrived at a job by taking a different path than most of us, and can now say he's written for some of the biggest publications on Earth.
