Episode 28: SPECTRE and Bond 25 Speculation
11/08/2017 Durata: 48minIf you've followed me on this podcast at all you know I am a massive James Bond fan. With Bond 25 rumors and news flying out of the ether I figured now was the perfect time to revisit the last James Bond film SPECTRE. It was a film met with a mixed response and while it was a flawed film I still loved it. There was a lot of talk about how the early script had some third act issues and I was always curious as to what they were. Well I finally got my hands on the script that leaked out during the Sony hack and sit down to see what the original version of SPECTRE looked like. Episode 27: Star Wars Episode V Commentary
04/08/2017 Durata: 02h12minThe hype for The Last Jedi is still real and we continue our dive into the Star Wars Universe. Recently I showed my wife the original Star Wars for the first time and we keep the ball rolling as we move onto The Empire Strikes Back. My favorite movie of all time, and most often the Star Wars film that fans claim as the best, she gets to experience it for the first time and share her thoughts. What is a non fan's perspective of this classic entry in the biggest saga in the world? Episode 26: Ghostbusters (2016) Live Reaction Commentary
28/07/2017 Durata: 02h12minThere is a unique twists to today's commentary track. Ghostbusters is something that shaped my childhood. I watched the VHS tape so much that it stopped working, I made my own proton pack out of cardboard. Naturally when the remake happened it was something I avoided but always knew that one day I would have to see. I decided why not take you on that journey with me. I sat down and watched the film for the first time and recorded a live reaction commentary track. It's an interesting ride and decided to try this as an experiment. Episode 25: Man Of Steel Commentary
21/07/2017 Durata: 02h19minToday's episode is another commentary track! This time it's a solo commentary as the host Jeremy Meyer begins his coverage of the DCEU films by revisiting Man of Steel for the first time since it's theatrical release. This film will be covered again with a guest but this time Jeremy preferred to do it solo to establish his views on the DCEU's origin and to touch base with this film in particular. Before Batman fought Superman, before Wonder Woman, there was the solo Superman film that was highly polarizing. Now that future films have been released, how does the first one hold up? Episode 24: Star Wars Episode IV Commentary
14/07/2017 Durata: 02h15minSo this is the of many to come of our film commentary tracks. Now my wife has guested multiple times on the podcast and there's been one thing I've wanted to have her participate in for a long time. The bottom line is she has never seen Star Wars. It is one of my favorite movies of all time and is just something she didn't grow up with. We felt it was time to rectify that. We sat down and watched Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope for her first time and recorded her live thoughts and reactions. What follows is her first experience watching the classic film as I guider her through the journey. Episode 21: Batman/Superman Asylum
09/06/2017 Durata: 01h38minThis week one of the hosts of the Nerds and Marks podcast, Jordan Pryde, joins in to talk about the Batman vs Superman movie that almost was. The only public evidence of this movie was a billboard in the background of I Am Legend, this script simply titled "Asylum" was written by Shelved all star Andrew Kevin Walker. Deemed too dark, this script was eventually Shelved which lead us to Batman Begins, but is this script really that awful? Written By: Andrew Kevin Walker Logline: When an unknown villain's plot tries to pit the two top heroes of the world against each other, Batman is forced out of retirement and sent on a rampage of vengeance, leaving Superman with no choice but to stop his friend from breaking his vows.
