25/02/2021 Durata: 29minOn this week’s show we hear from Fifa president Gianni Infantino, who says that with elections for a new Caf president taking place next month, this is a crucial period for African football. Infantino says that with good leadership at Caf, the continent might do better at the next Fifa men’s and women’s World Cups and compete well against the big teams. Also we go to Cameroon and hear what the reaction is there to Indomitable Lions and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana being given a one-year ban by Uefa after he failed an out-of-competition doping test. Plus Stuart’s assessment of how new Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is doing so far.

18/02/2021 Durata: 29minOn this week’s show we go to the Under-20 Afcon in Mauritania, the biggest sporting event ever held in the country, and there are two brand-new stadiums for the tournament. Also we investigate a hot issue – allegations of the weaponization of Covid-19 in African football. Some visiting teams have accused their opponents of arranging fake positive Covid-19 results to rule players out of action. And, was it fair for Uefa to give Cameroon and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana a one-year ban after he failed an out-of-competition doping test, when he says it was a mistake. Onyekuru signed for Everton but never played for them due to work permit issues, but he was focused on the EPL. Stuart explains the new work permit regulations for foreign players in the UK, and talks about the retirement of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.

14/01/2021 Durata: 29minOn this week’s show we look ahead to the 2020 African Nations Championship, the CHAN, which runs from this Saturday until 7 February in Cameroon. We hear from Cameroon, where all is ready with the facilities, but there is a lack of optimism that the national team can deliver. We also speak to Zambia coach Micho, who’s hoping that the tournament can bring better times for the Chipolopolo. And in the EPL it’s Liverpool against Manchester United on Sunday, with United extending their lead if they win.
